This beautiful herbaceous perennial attracts hordes of bees, swallowtail butterflies, and other pollinators. It spreads vigorously, making it a valuable native addition to areas threatened by invasive, non-native plants. It has purple flowers similar to those of wild bergamot and frosted, blue-green foliage that retains its fresh appeal throughout the summer.  Plant it next to wild bergamot for a gorgeous combination that drives pollinators wild with excitement.
